Defendant was charged with first degree murder and tendered a plea of guilty to second degree murder. After conducting a hearing to determine that there was a factual basis for the guilty plea, the trial judge accepted the plea. At the sentencing hearing the trial court determined that the aggravating factor outweighed the mitigating factors and sentenced defendant to life imprisonment.
