COMPTON, Justice.

The principal issue in this case is whether Alaska's two-year tort statute of limitations or three-year statute of limitations for actions against peace officers applies to Jenkins' suit against three Anchorage police officers. Although inartfully plead, Jenkins' complaint can be read to state three separate theories for relief. These are abuse of process, false arrest (imprisonment) and a violation of civil rights under 42 U.S...
