Petitioner was convicted in Suffolk County Court in 1983, following a jury trial, of murder in the second degree. He was sentenced to twenty-five years to life, and is presently incarcerated. He now seeks relief on the grounds that (1) his confession was involuntary because it was obtained by means of deception, and (2) his conviction was obtained through use of evidence siezed during an illegal arrest. 28...
