Kirby Jerome Boothe, a/k/a Rome, the defendant, was charged by a bill of indictment on October 22, 1986, with second degree murder, a violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. The defendant by way of his defense, filed a motion to suppress several statements made during the investigation of the charge. Subsequent to a hearing, the motion was denied.
