The defendants have appealed from a judgment confirming an arbitration award. The defendants claim that the court erred in granting the application to confirm the award in that (1) the arbitration proceedings and award include claims under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA) which claims were outside the submission and not subject to arbitration, (2) the inclusion of CUTPA claims in arbitration...
