Appellant Holt was charged in a two count indictment with armed robbery (D.C. Code §§ 22-2901, -3202 (1981)), and felony threats (D.C.Code § 22-2307 (1981)). After a jury trial, he was acquitted of armed robbery (and the lesser-included offense of assault with a dangerous weapon) but convicted of felony threats. He was sentenced pursuant to the Federal Youth Corrections Act (18 U.S.C. § 5010(b) (repealed 1984), to a term of imprisonment...
