The plaintiffs, Corosa Realty and Domenic Rosa, sought damages from the defendant, Covenant Insurance Company, claiming that the defendant wrongfully refused to pay the proceeds of a fire insurance policy on a residence owned by Corosa Realty and occupied by Domenic Rosa1 which was destroyed by fire.
