BORDEN, J.

The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, after a jury trial, of burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (1),1 robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (3),2 and sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a).3
