Frank J. Wilkerson was charged by bill of information with third offense DWI, in violation of La.R.S. 14:98. Defendant waived formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Thereafter, defendant filed a motion to quash the bill of information, arguing that one of the two predicate DWI convictions had been obtained by a constitutionally defective guilty plea.
