This is an appeal by the National Association of Government Employees, Local No. 79 (the union), from a judgment of the Superior Court vacating an arbitration award that called for the reinstatement of a nurse employed at the Rhode Island Medical Center who had been discharged for dragging an elderly woman patient across the floor and outside into bitter cold weather and for failing to report an injury to a patient.
