Williams seeks appellate review of the sufficiency of the evidence to sustain his conviction in a bench trial for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. The panel is unanimous in holding that in a bench trial a timely motion must be made challenging the sufficiency of the evidence in order to preserve the issue for appeal. See Rule 5A: 18.
