The age limitation set forth in § 3-904(e)(1) of Maryland's Wrongful Death Act1 states that solatium damages may be recovered by parents of a deceased person if that person was a child "21 years old or younger." We shall decide in this case whether that section allows respondents Michael E. and C. Patricia Keane ("the Keanes") to recover for the wrongful death of their son, Gregory Thomas Keane, who was 21 years...
