The issue raised by this application for leave to appeal concerns the liability of a health insurance carrier for expenses incurred after the insurer terminates the policy, but resulting from a condition (in this case pregnancy) that arose during the life of the policy. The Court of Appeals held that, in that situation, the insurer remains liable for those expenses arising from that condition that would have been covered had the policy remained in effect...
