Defendant Ronald Martin, Sr. was charged with aggravated rape, aggravated crime against nature and aggravated burglary. At his trial, there was no true dispute over the fact that the victim had been raped. Instead, the primary issue was whether the defendant was the rapist. The victim testified that the man who attacked her had a tattoo on his right upper arm which "said something like `Angela,'" and "had some loops in it." In response to this testimony...
