DYKMAN, J.

This is an appeal from a judgment modifying an arbitration award. The dispositive issue is whether sec. 788.11(1), Stats.,1 permits a circuit court to determine the value of an arbitrator's award, and render judgment in that amount. Because the circuit court lacked competency to modify the award in this way, we reverse.
