Kenneth Robinson was convicted of attempted simple burglary on January 13, 1987 and was sentenced on May 28, 1987. He filed a motion for appeal on or after June 5, 1987. We noted sua sponte that the appeal appeared to be untimely and ordered defendant to show cause by brief only why the appeal should not be dismissed.1 In response defendant concedes his motion for appeal was untimely but suggests that the appeal be maintained...
