LABORDE, Judge.

On August 3, 1985, defendant, Joan Dugas Guidry Montgomery, was convicted of the crime of manslaughter, a violation of La.R.S. 14:31. On April 7, 1987, after remand, defendant was sentenced to serve ten (10) years at hard labor.1 Defendant now appeals contending that her sentence is excessive.
