This case, like others before it, arises out of the construction of nuclear power plants by the Washington Public Power Supply System (Supply System). Financing for these projects came from the sale of revenue bonds to the investing public. These bondholders have sued the State to recover the $7.5 billion that they have been unable to collect on their bonds after the Supply System defaulted. The bondholders' allegations...
