Jerry W. McBride brought this equity action against Lance LeRoy and Rita Mae Hammers (Hammers) to recover damages equivalent to the balance of the purchase price owed him under an agreement for the sale of the assets of a going business that included real estate. The district court awarded McBride damages. Hammers appealed, and we transferred the case to the court of appeals, which reversed. On further review in this court, we now vacate the court...
