Lyman, was originally charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, and four counts of use of a knife in the commission of a felony. Pursuant to a plea bargain, the defendant pleaded guilty to an amended information charging two counts of first degree assault and one count of use of a knife in the commission of a felony.
