Bryce Phillips appeals from the jury verdict and judgment entered thereon dismissing his wrongful discharge claim against the City of Seattle. We affirm.

In July 1979, Bryce Phillips began working as a plumber for the City. His absentee record apparently was no cause of concern until late 1982 when Phillips began using unusual amounts of sick leave. His immediate supervisor, Phil Hyde, spoke with Phillips in February 1983 about the absences...
