In September, 1984, the plaintiffs, individually and on behalf of their daughter, commenced a civil suit against the defendant, Charles Basbas, for allegedly sexually abusing their then 3½-year-old daughter. The plaintiffs presently appeal the February 26, 1987 decision of the Superior Court (Dalianis, J.) dismissing the case with prejudice for failing to comply with the court's discovery order.
