This appeal arises under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. Sec. 201 et seq. Five employees of defendants Elgin and Melinda Jefferson, operators of Jefferson Family Care Homes, brought separate actions against their employers for alleged minimum wage and overtime violations of the FLSA. The cases were consolidated for a bench trial, and judgments from which no appeal has been taken were entered against two of the plaintiffs...
