On June 15, 1981, Edna M. Riley was seen at the medical offices of Nichols, Cooke, Beach and Wieman in the Village of Owego, Tioga County, complaining of rectal bleeding. Defendant Dr. Philip A. Nichols examined Riley and asked her to return three days later to have two additional tests performed, a sigmoidoscopy and a barium enema. She returned...
