C.R. Valentine and William T. Dikeman (collectively referred to as Dikeman) appeal a judgment affirming a decision by the Kittitas County Board of Adjustment (Board) prohibiting rock crushing on Dikeman's property. We affirm. The fact that the State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) had issued Dikeman's predecessor a surface mining permit did not operate to deprive the Board of jurisdiction to regulate rock crushing.
