Appellant was convicted of homicide by vehicle in the second degree. OCGA § 40-6-393 (b). On appeal he takes issue with an instruction given the jury by the trial court during appellant's closing argument.

During his closing argument, appellant's trial attorney informed the jury that "when the defendant introduces evidence of good character, the State has the right to introduce and call witnesses...
