Helen Delores Soderquist brought an action in the circuit court of Kane County against defendants, St. Charles Mall, Associates, Ltd., and St. Charles Mall, Inc., for personal injuries she suffered when she slipped and fell in a puddle of water on the floor inside defendants' shopping mall. A jury returned a verdict in plaintiff's favor
