A jury convicted Steven Lofink of two counts of inflicting corporal punishment on a child resulting in traumatic conditions (Pen. Code,1 § 273d) and two counts of willful cruelty toward a child under circumstances likely to cause great bodily harm and death (§ 273a, subd. (1)). The trial court suspended imposition of sentence and placed Lofink on felony probation for five years...
