No. 1189, September Term, 1987.

75 Md. App. 282 (1988)

540 A.2d 1208

BARBARA SHIFFLETT v. DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ET AL.

Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.

May 12, 1988.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Rhonda Lipkin, Bel Air, for appellant.

Amy S. Scherr, Asst. Atty. Gen. (J. Joseph Curran, Jr., Atty. Gen., on the brief), Baltimore, for appellees.

Argued before MOYLAN, GARRITY and ROSALYN B. BELL, JJ.

MOYLAN, Judge.

Hotly contested in this appeal is the propriety of a decision by the Board of Appeals of the Department of Employment and Training1 that appellant, Barbara Shifflett, is ineligible for unemployment insurance benefits because she voluntarily resigned from her job without "good cause" or "valid circumstances" within the meaning of Md. Ann. Code (1957, 1985 Repl.Vol., 1987 Cum.Supp.) Art. 95A, § 6(a).
