This adversary proceeding was commenced by Complaint filed February 12, 1988, by which the Plaintiff, Carol Renee McConnell, seeks a determination that certain divorce decree payments awarded her in a 1987 divorce from the defendant, Field McConnell, are in the nature of alimony and support and thus nondischargeable under section 523(a)(5) of the Bankruptcy Code.
