BORDEN, J.

The plaintiff city appeals from the judgment of the trial court denying its application to vacate and granting the defendant union's application to confirm an arbitration award of the state board of mediation and arbitration (state board). The plaintiff claims that the court erred in finding that the arbitration award did not violate public policy. We find no error.
