Bauer sued the Borough of Cliffside Park (Borough) the Police Department of Cliffside Park (Department) and Cliffside Park Police Officer Jack Mattessich (Mattessich) asserting claims for malicious prosecution and false arrest. Following grant of summary judgment to all defendants, Bauer appealed.
