This is an appeal by defendant, John Bunyan, from a conviction and sentence entered by the Court of Common Pleas of Auglaize County.

On February 7, 1986, defendant was stopped by employees of a supermarket for shoplifting. The employees notified the Auglaize County Sheriff's Department and a deputy arrived and questioned defendant.
