Stone, appeals from a decision of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. sec. 2254. Stone contends that he received ineffective assistance of counsel during the guilt and sentencing phases of his trial.
