The defendant-appellant, Henry Willis, a guard at the Stateville Correctional Center (Stateville) in Joliet, Illinois, seeks review of a jury verdict in the amount of $125,000 for the plaintiff-appellee, Terry Vaughn, an inmate at Stateville.
