Mrs. Agnes Stenger, then ninety-one years old, fell on February 8, 1983 and fractured her left shoulder. She was treated as a inpatient at Hillcrest Hospital until February 17, 1983, when she was released from Hillcrest and admitted to Flushing Manor Nursing Home, a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
