These four appeals stem out of one case brought before the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Three defendants were each charged with four counts of securities law violations and one count of grand theft stemming from a securities fraud scheme. The two appealing defendants, James K. Brown and Charles M. Walden, were each sentenced to five concurrent one-year prison terms. The sentences were suspended and they were each put on five years' probation...
