MEMORANDUM OPINION

CHURCHILL, District Judge.

In this criminal matter, the Government's motion for pretrial detention of Defendant MacNeal Johnson requires the Court to revisit its determination that the crime of being a felon in possession of a firearm is a "crime of violence" as contemplated by the Bail Reform Act. See United States v. Jones, 651 F.Supp. 1309
