BROWN v. McCOW

1988 Mass. App. Div. 94 (1988)

Kasundra R. Brown vs. Winston McCow

Massachusetts Appellate Division, Northern District.

May 19, 1988.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Gerald V. Heckler for the plaintiff.

Winston Kendall for the defendant.

Present: Doyle, P.J., Forte & Bohn, JJ.

Bohn, J.

This case raises for the first time on appeal to the Northern District of the Appellate Division the issue of whether the Appellate Division of the District Court Department has jurisdiction to review an adjudication of paternity and the entry of a support order pursuant to the provisions of G.L.c. 209C. Because this court is of the opinion that it does not have such jurisdiction, the report will be dismissed. Defendant's appeal is to the Appeals Court.
