Following a bench trial in Recorder's Court, defendant was found not guilty of the charged offense of assault with intent to murder but was found guilty of the lesser offense of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, MCL 750.84; MSA 28.279, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). Sentenced October 3, 1986, to two to ten years in prison and an additional two years in prison for felony...
