The owner of a house entered into contracts for the installation of a home security system, which included fire alarm devices. The contracts contained clauses limiting the liability and the warranties of the seller. After the house had been destroyed by fire, the owner sued for alleged defects in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the system. Because the non-liability and no-warranty clauses are enforceable
