Eugene Ray Clegg is charged with exporting firearms in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(1) (1982) and 22 U.S.C. § 2778(b)(2), (c) (1982). During pretrial proceedings, Clegg requested the government to produce documents that allegedly contained information of his activities.
