Banco Popular has brought this case against several officers and directors of Amfesco Industries, Inc., a New York corporation, and against Brout & Co., a New York partnership and several of its members. Banco Popular claims that both the Amfesco defendants and the Brout defendants made significant misrepresentations regarding the business operations of Amfesco which induced the bank to extend over $8 million...
