Siegel Mobile Home Group, Inc., a judgment creditor of Reed Bowen, brought this action to quiet title to a residence property once owned by Reed. In the district court the question was whether Reed's conveyance of his property to his former wife, Beverly, had put it beyond the reach of Siegel's judgment lien.
