This is an action brought by Hubbard Daughdrill, a toolpusher employed by Ocean Drilling & Exploration Company (ODECO), to recover damages he sustained while being transferred from ODECO's drilling rig, the OCEAN EXPLORER, to the deck of the M/V AMERICAN RIVER, a crewboat owned and operated by Trico Marine, Inc. (Trico). Daughdrill claimed that ODECO was negligent under the Jones Act in, inter alia, failing...
