Defendant-appellant, Jo Ann Vrona, was indicted on multiple counts of theft and passing bad checks, and one count of failing to register as a tour promoter. The charges arose out of the operation of a business incorporated as H.T. Management Company, d.b.a. Vacation Travel; this company was also indicted.
