This case arises out of a contract between the State of Alaska and McBirney & Associates (McBirney), a general partnership and building owner, to lease to the state office space in Fairbanks. The attorney general advised that the contract was void due to irregularities in the manner by which it was obtained by McBirney. McBirney sued to enforce the contract.
