John Boehner was convicted by a Kootenai County jury of assault with intent to commit a serious felony upon a law enforcement officer. The jury also convicted Boehner of using a firearm in connection with the assault. He received an indeterminate ten-year sentence for the principal offense, enhanced by an indeterminate three-year term for use of the firearm.
