The defendant physicians in this case were convicted of numerous counts of Medicaid fraud, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:70.1. Each defendant was sentenced to five years at hard labor on each count to run concurrently but was given a suspended sentence and was placed on probation. The defendants appeal.
