This case concerns an appeal from the denial of a petition for writ of habeas corpus filed by Arna Bo Winchester. Winchester was committed to Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility in 1985, after a jury found him not guilty by reason of insanity of robbery and kidnapping.
